ITINERARY
Day1 ARRIVE COCHIN – MUUNAR Upon arrival at Cochin, you will be meeting our representative followed by a drive to Munnar. You will reach Munnar by afternoon en-routing, beautiful waterfalls like Cheyyara, Valara and Attakadu along with spice plantation. Also, you will stop by Kodanadu Elephant Care Centre. Later, on arrival, you will check-in and spend an overnight stay in Munnar.
Day2 MUUNAR After breakfast, spend a full day sightseeing in and around Munnar. Enjoy panoramic views of Anamudi, the highest peak of South India at 2695 m which is visible from Munnar. Visit the Christ Church and proceed for a wildlife expedition at Eravikulam National Park (16 km).
Continue to tour in Rajamalai Hills lying adjacent to the park and stop by at Madupetty Dam, a famous picnic spot for boating and horse riding. Later in the evening, transfer to the selected hotel and spend an overnight at the hotel.
Note: Eravikulam National Park will be closed from 01Jan to 28 Feb every year.
Day3 MUUNAR - THEKKADY - PERIYAR After breakfast drive to Thekkady. On arrival at Thekkady, check-in at the hotel and take some rest. Later, you can go on a game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which includes elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc, and quite a lot of unique birds can also be spotted. Later, come back to the hotel; relax and enjoy your overnight stay.
Day4 THEKKADY - PERIYAR - KUMARAKOM After your breakfast, you can proceed towards Kumarakom. Check into the resort at the bank of the Vembanand Lake where you will forget everything and feel the rush of endless enjoyment. You can spend the rest of the day at ease followed by an overnight stay at the resort.
Day5 KUMARAKOM After breakfast at the hotel, you can spend the rest of the day free for relaxation and self-time. Later, spend an overnight stay at the hotel in Kumarakom.
Day6 KUMARAKOM - ALLEPPEY After breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to Alleppey. Enjoy the magic of backwater by going on a Houseboat (Kettuvallam) cruise across the backwaters. Spend the next 22 hours in your floating villa. Enjoy the backwaters of Kerala by getting a glimpse of the village life at close quarters; a unique and unforgettable experience. Enjoy the sunset and stay overnight on the houseboat with all inclusive of breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day7 ALLEPPEY - COCHIN DEPARTURE After breakfast in the morning, you will be driven back to Cochin. On arrival at Cochin International Airport you will be dropped to connect flight for your onward destination.
